Adobe Premiere / Photoshop Elements 2018: improved organization, more effects

Adobe introduces the new versions of Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements 2018. The developers are improving the Organizational Tool and bringing a number of new effects to the programs.

With the extended organizer you can now find media material even easier to find, sort and tag. You can sort by location, date, events or favorites. Also a face recognition is integrated, with which appropriate material can also be found by person. Instead of folders, the organizer shows a visual overview with direct preview. The new feature is "Social Media Posts" . This allows video clips to be provided with static or animated text and shared directly on a social media platform. From a video you can now also create a freeze frame, which can then be embellished with a movement title. With "SmartTrim"Premiere Elements also looks for the best scenes in a video clip and cuts and combines them so automatically. Also for the creation of photos from a film snippet out there is now an automatic.

Especially for Actioncamaufnahmen Premiere Elements now offers the correction of such compensation including lens distortion. With the "bounce-back" effect, the cutter can now create a scene in which the sequence is played backwards and forwards over and over again. This bounce-back can also be exported as a short video clip or as a GIF animation. If you also want to prepare your vacation photos beautifully, you will now be given a dynamic slide show creation, with the software automatically animating a slideshow with effects and transitions including video clips.

Photoshop Elements can now combine the best shots automatically, depending on quality, face, subject or tag, and lets you easily swap the background of an image. Also included are the artistic overlay effect in the form of various masks and the option to create a watercolor from a photo. With the "double exposure"Now there's an effect for the superimposition of two images. Who knows the selection tool from Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, knows that an accurate marking is sometimes a bit time consuming.
